Should Android users demand that Facebook not be preinstalled on their phone? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 02:28 AM PDT I have FB preinstalled on my S9+ with no way to really disable it. (The services are still on and are separate from the main app) Edit: I wanted to add that I do disable FB using SABS. But it ridicules that it's even there. and I would definitely not buy a phone that has FB baked in but It's a work cell phone. edit2: https://imgur.com/a/axX8U The fb services. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 13 Apr 2018 09:47 PM PDT At least that's how it should be in AOSP like devices. Really helpful in many cases. Edit: Correction, thanks to /u/inverimus, /u/Sonickyle27 and /u/armando_rod Pressing it disables smart lock from (at least) Android 6.0.1 upwards with a little change in 8.1 on Pixel Devices
